Umpire from District 8 Selected to Umpire at the Junior World Series

Congratulations go out to Bob Thomas, Umpire in Chief at Eagle Creek Little League. 

Bob was selected as one of the umpires to work the Junior World Series in Michigan.  Bob will be one of the Central Region's assigned umpires to the World Series.  

Bob has long umpired for District 8 and has previously worked state tournaments in 9-10, 10-11, Major, Intermediate, Junior, Senior and Big League.  He worked the Major Boys Regional Tournament, the Junior Boys Regional Tournament and now will be doing his first World Series in Little League.  Bob has volunteered for Eaglel Creek Little League for over 20 years and this assignment is appropriate for someone who has dedicated themselves to the service of youth. 

Thanks for your service to your league, your district, to the state and the Central Region. I look forward to seeing Bob on ESPN.
